Mt. Airy, GA - The Piedmont College cross country teams recently took time away from the course to help out in their local community by assisting with a relay race hosted by the Habersham middle school system in order to promote the sport amongst its youth. Head Coach Charlie Patterson took his programs over to Mt. Airy for the event as the team provided help with course monitoring and runner encouragement as well as the overall organization of the event.
