Averett University women's cross country freshman Sydney Fryman was selected as the Cougars' representative on the USA South Conference All-Sportsmanship Team.

Averett University men's cross country freshman Chandler Lowell was selected as the Cougars' representative on the USA South Conference All-Sportsmanship Team.

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. An all-conference quartet led Methodist's men's and women's cross country squads at Saturday's USA South Athletic Conference Championship Meet where the Monarch men finished fourth in the team chase and the women were sixth.

The Piedmont College men's cross country team placed third in the USA South Championship led by BRYCE GRIGGS breaking into the top-10. The Lions set the school record for 8k team average with a 26:51 topping their 2017 regional mark of 27:00.

The Averett University men's and women's cross country teams competed in the USA South Conference Championships on Saturday, with the men's team placing 11th with 304 points and the women's team placing 11th with 315 points.

The Piedmont College women's cross country team placed third of 15 teams at the USA South Cross Country Championship Saturday. The Lady Lions averaged 25:25, their fastest team 6k mark since the 2017 season.

The Cougars go into the USA South Championships on Saturday, Nov. 2, on the campus of N.C. Wesleyan College.
